Default Who runs a radix in cold temps?

I have been contemplating a Radix for my 01 5.3 EC for a while now. Seems it would suit my needs quite nicely. I am wondering if anyone has run it in lower temperatures and if so have you had any problems?

I currently DD my truck, which means Winter, Summer, Rain or Snow, It is on the road. I regularly see temps as low as -30*C (-22*F). Anyone run one at these temps?????

Doesn't get much colder than Winterpeg. No problems here. Mine has been run from -40 to +40*C

DrX, Exactly what I wanted to hear. We get the same temp swings here, although the coldest it got was -38*C here this year Highest temp would be around +35*C with average summer temp in the mid twentys.

DrX, do you have any links to Canadian suppliers for go fast goodies? I can never seem to find any.

Just give it a chance to warm up before romping it, and you should be ok. I have burned up a few turbo's due to extreme cold. The long oil feed line acts as a oil cooler, never allowing the oil to turbo a chance to get warm. When it is below zero even the thinest oils are way to thick. With the supercharger once you get it warm the oil should stay warm, and be ok.

I can handle the warm up period, truck gets fully warmed when it is below freezing outside. The initial startup is what I am concerned with.

shouldnt need to worry. internal clearances are developed for OEM applications ranging down to -40C/F (same point anyhow)
