Sounds like with that large cam you are bleeding boost and you may need to go to the next biggest blower. My 212-218 bleeds boost and that 's why I have a 2.8 Litre blower. What is the size of the whipple? Good Luck

the whipple is a 2.3L. I never have seen where I can get a larger one, but that would be more than likely out of the question due to cost. I would change the cam before doing that. Depending on what cam would be good yet and allow boost.

So is it a single belt (all of the belt driven accessories, including the blower, on one belt), or a two belt setup (blower has its own belt)?

OK, they didn't lie about the pulley size then.

I had a 2.8" pulley made for my whipple. Well when I still had it. Back then my truck had a LS1 9.5-1 compression and a small cam. The cam was a 221/221dur 551/551 lift. With the 2.8" pulley I was getting 11-12 pounds of boost. I could build/Tig you up a lower intake for the whipple so you could run a air/water intercooler. The stock lower intake is really small and looks really restrictive. I bet you could gain some power with a Sheetmetal lower intake. I also have a flange I had made for the truck intake so that I could run a external intercooler. If your interested in getting a lower intake built for you blower let me know. I know I still have the engine intake flange and I will check around for that 2.8" pulley.

I would love to give that 2.8" pulley a try. Let me know there, but I am thinking I will more than likely go with that Edelbrock intake and I found a nice A2W intercooler that would work sweet with that intake.

Here's the link. I know its ebay, but looks like it should work good just mounting it on the opposite side as the charger so the outlet needs just an elbow and right into the intake.
