A air to air intercooler makes them loud.... I am actually re doing my intercooler piping, Ill post pics up when I am done.

 

I hated the sound when i first installed it.........now its like sweet sweet music!

The 8.1L comes with an A2W intercooler that is very efficient. I wish i could fit the 3.3L in there because i can only get about 7psi out of the 2.3L....and thats when its cool outside. All things considered i am very satisfied with mine.

No more 90 silicone elbow, fewer silicone couplers, all 3"

 

Well I bought a used whipple for dirt cheap...cant wait till I get it on!!!

 

I don't want one again, until they release an air/air or air/h2o kit for them lsxs.
Unless Mercruiser quit buying all their cases, it will probably be awhile before they are worried about the aftermarket again.
