The 4.8l seem to be more resistant to detenation as opposed to the 5.3's.Maybe due to the fact that the DCR is lower then the 5.3's.I was running Ca. wonderful 91 blend and this was done with GM cats and borla catback. Also the truck runs really cool like 175 most of the time unless its just at idle.No tricks just a combo that happens to work good. The dyno sheet really is not that important hopefully I will get some track times this summer. One of the things that I like about it is you can't really hear the cam or the blower it is pretty much a sleeper. If I can figure out how to post a vid I will.

i'm impressed. did you have this same setup before you put the cam in? been wondering what kinda gains the whipples get after a cam swap. did Rick tune it 2 bar SD or are you still using the MAF? seems you hit the nail on the head with this setup, good job

The Whipple was the last mod.I don't have any previous dyno sheets N/A but; it did run 14.6 to 14.8 @93 to 95 mph on my g-tech.I am pretty sure that's accurate cause I would consistently hang with cars in the 14's.I still run a maf.
