I'd budget atleast 5-6k grand though.

You could build your own turbo kit for cheaper than a kit, thats for sure but quality might suffer.

The other big factor here is the transmission and rear end. The 4L60e won't be happy with turbo power and the stock G80 will explode at some point. So there is more money to have set aside for a turbo build.

Okay so how much beefier would my transmission need to be and at the moment I'm running 4:11 gears with 37 inch tires would that be enough on the gear ratio or no

your trans will hate you with power and 37s

if you had a new model truck that has the 6l80 you would be much better off

It would die even faster with power and 37's lol.

Some 33's and those gears would be better. Having rims and tires that weight likely over 110lbs each is just asking for slow. Must be a look thing because thats something I'll never understand.

New our stage 2 is 3645.00.
Then add misc stuff.
Injectors 600.?
Tuning 400.00 unless you do it.
Final exhaust 0-400.00

You can see 5k goes quick.

Now if you find a good used kit you can get under your budget.
