help, I am tried of paying 40 bucks for a gallon of boost juice. there has to be somebody local i can deal w/ in the detroit area

 

I thought the boost juice was about $10/gallon with freight. Anyway, out here we have race gas dealers in the phone book. One near me is about $3. gallon for the methanol.

There are some windshield solvents that are supposed to be 50/50 and go for boost, you would have to lok it up. Also I hear people say Home Depot, etc...

I am using Winter windshield washer solvent that is 40% to 50% methanol according to their web site. Look for winter washer and check the label for methanol. The Shell I use also says it has isopropel alcohol in it as well. Go online and see what else you can find out about the product in your area. If you are tuned to run a 50/50 mix this will work well and is relatively cheap and easy to find.

I am going to try some methly hydrate ( camp stove alcohol fuel ) and see how it works. I will be able to vary the mix and see how the truck likes that. It should be available at Home Depot, Lowes and places like that.

 

I get it from the local track for $3.50 gallon.
