i have my

lq4 turbo @ 10lbs in my tundra..

4l60e

what are u guys suggesting.. 3200?



trucks will see 50% street.. 25% track and 25% off road

one other concern is that my truck weighs in about 1000lbs less then a silverado.. specially since my tundra is a fiberglass for the most part as well..

for off-roading you probably don't want something too high or loose. A yank 3000 maybe.

I would recommend somewhere in the 3k range as well. I have around a 3400 behind my turbo 6l and I like it.

It a prerunner, not a rock crawler. You go fast the whole time.

Do you care about how it behaves in different scenarios? That will play a part in choice of converter.

If your really going offroad 25% I definitely wouldnt go over a 3k. I think you would like the way the SC3000 feels, it would be as big as I could stand taking it off road and its great for dd'ing, but I would be sure and tell dave or whoever builds it about the weight difference in your truck.

last v6 motor i was at ~55mph all the time.. but then when were at glamis and pismo the dunes keep the RPM's really high all the time going thru the sand with paddle tires

i was told to go with circle-d for boosted applications..

i know my boys are running that YANK 3000, on a cammed 5.3 4x4 and it really does do the job
