Yea I looked again earlier and there is only an inch or less there. Might be able to space the top A frame mount out and stick the cooler at the very top behind the A frame but I still don't think it would clear.

the a-frame touches the condenser on nbs. Just ordered this ic from rick. there appears to be two spots to mount. in front of the ic or between condenser and rad. Im having trouble finding the thread/pics of the cooler between the cond/rad. anybody know the thread?

If theres room.
Mount it infront of ic.

And the trans cooler against A frame.
So if the ic was against the A frame.
The trans cooler could fit in front.
That was initial install. It was relocated later to the front of the IC. IC was moved back against the A-frame.

I've seen that you've posted in a couple of threads regarding this. My thought is since I'm by passing the rad it should be ok inbetween the rad/cond. I also see that rick with trick keeps pushing for it in front. I just don't want to hide the ic. Does that make me vain lol

Probably because his mounting brackets that come with his IC's won't work if you put it between the A-frame and the IC.

Why won't they work?
Just drill a different hole as needed.

They might work. I already dropped most of my stuff off at the shop so I can't just go look but I don't think there is enough room to drill another hole in brackets to move the IC forward another 1 1/2 - 2". It wouldn't be hard to get some sheet metal to extend them out a little though. Either way once my truck is done and everything is installed if the shop doing my install makes it work out nicely I'll take a few pics and post them up. If it's all duct tape and zip ties then I'm keeping that to myself.
