What posi big power guys using that wont break?

SO sick of going through rear ends on my 07 tahoe with a lsa blower on it. Been through a stock diff a rebuilt stock that I converted to a clutch style (Striped spiders this time)
and been through two yukon posi true tracks now. Both of those chineese diffs broke the spider gears too. Both of them with in the same 8 month time frame Lost one tooth off the side gears well the second one broke one tooth on each side gear. I can see the clutch packs were put together wrong with no support at the gear and it crushed the clutch plate and the clearance gets really bad letting the gears on the pins open up so rides more on the out side of the teeth so knocks them off. So done with those people as yukon says to get a warranty replacement I have to send it in and then in 6-9 weeks I will see the new one. Thats a joke so need to find something to replace it so truck isnt down long. I dont abuse this thing just did a 6l80e swap to it run 14 psi on e85 no and then. Thinking about the eaton as the richmond uses cones and not sure how long that will hold up. So about out of options so wanted to ask and see what you turbo and big power guys use. I think the issue is the torque comes on so hard that even just being spirited off a light its hard on the diff. Thanks for any recommendations.

Detroit Locker is heavy duty. I would possibly entertain a 14 bolt though with the torque you're putting out and the weight of your rig.

I used auburn gear with 4.10 richmond gears and it's been holding up well so far. I'm on my 3rd trans. Broke the output shaft on the last one.
09 tahoe with the 5.3 lmg and a tvs1900 with a 3" pulley.
Hope that helps, good luck!

I might look to see if your housing is still in good shape... I forgot to put my truck in 4wd at the track back in the day with slicks. 385ci, 25psi...it hooked, but the gears got ripped up. Too much torque will flex the housing. Yours might not be the shape it used to be anymore.

Go through the entire rear end and check if your axles are twisted. Something is definitely not right OR you're throwing garbage parts into it.

One of the Hummer models has a nearly perfect 14 bolt swap rear end. Maybe somebody can chime in which ones to look for.

14bolt sf here, stock g80 in it, been in a couple months behind cam/bolt on 6.2. a little more power now seems ok

@fastjweb

Jweb is in the 9s. I know he had to replace axles because he broke his.

Cracked my carrier in the g80, installed Detroit true trac and it's taken it so far, I'm hard on it. Just make sure you go with the true trac, not the track tac, it has clutch and true trac does not...

Had the same tru trac for 5 years now, 16s to 9s, 1.41 60fts. I have replaced gears once in that time and broke a stock axle recently because i tried to make 18lbs off boost on foot brake, hydroboost held it, something had to give. The last time swapped gears, i did solid pinion shim, and added studs to bearing caps, and I have the B&M girdle cover.
