What is going to hold me back?

Just curious what you guys think will be the weakest link in my setup? Bear in mind I haven't put anything onto the truck yet (except the Walbro 255), just gathering parts right now, but I want to get it as close to right the first time. My initial goal was 500-600 rwhp, but thinking I can get more out of it. This will be a street only truck, almost daily driven. Looking for a fun ride but also very reliable.

Truck:
'01 Silverado ECSB, 2WD, 5.3L

Motor:
Stock block, bottom end, and heads
Isky 212/212 114 LSA cam
Dual valve springs, Comp upgraded stock rockers, hardened pushrods, LS7 lifters, LS2 timing set
ARP head studs, LS9 head gaskets
160 tstat

Turbo:
KB intercooled T4 kit
on3 (eBay) T76 turbo (compressor: 76.7ind /102.4exd, 0.80 AR, turbine: 74.5ind / 65exd, 0.96 AR)
50mm BOV and wastegate
3" charge piping
3.5" downpipe
eBoost Street boost controller

Fuel:
Walbro 255 in-tank
Racetronix hot-wire kit
Bosch 60# (3 bar) injectors

I think the weakest link here would be the single Walbro 255. I could upgrade to a Aeromotive 340 when I install the hot wire kit. Any other issue areas I'm not seeing?

Thanks, experts :hail:

That turbo, hand shaker, and traction....:burn:

Should be fun. Get a set of good street tires. The Nittos 555s seem to do well.

what would you recommend? I was planning on getting the 70mm from trick? Should I go ahead and get something bigger?

In what way would this turbo run out of steam? As in at a low RPM or something? And what specs indicate that that might happen? Just curious, I want to learn more :hmmm:

I wouldn't run anything with less than a 68mm exh wheel. Those On3 turbo's have a 64~65mm exh from what I've seen.

EXH wheel is too small.

The power curve flatlines. Small exhaust housings or wheels cause this. More often housings though..

Would a 1.15 AR housing help much? That is an option on these, but I already have the 0.96 AR version on my shelf. Might just run it as is to see how I like it.

So will the small turbine wheel help it spool up quickly then?
