Bone stock 2012 Silverado, trick turbo kit with an 66 borg? Can it do 500hp at 10-12 lbs of boost? I know a cam would help but for now some meth would be the only upgrade. I've been told the fuel system will handle it. Any comments?

 

Seems possible, high 400's for sure but maybe a tad more boost than 10psi.

The fuel pump will take you there but the stock injectors won't.

 

I'm probably at about 450 with a cam (215/215 112) at 10psi on a 5.3 in my c10. It dynoed 370 on 6psi but was really fat, haven't strapped it back down since I changed the spring, but it feels pretty strong.

That turbo is really fun though, lights like a light switch! lol Sounds awesome too!

 

12 psi and meth on a stock 5.3 can make 500 wheel but you will need injectors. The stock flex fuel ones won't flow enough.
