Default What do you think

Ok so I have been posting up a Lil bit just trying to find out some stuff about turbo setup's the reason being I just got a turbo kit for my truck... I know the cam In my truck now will not work. It is a 601/610 236/242 112. I am thinking of getting a 620/620 218/220 116 cam and I have to turbos I do not think they r big enough so I am going to go to something like a t6 flange t76 or t80 turbo.... I have a lq9 with l92 heads 80lbs injectors and twin 255 pumps.... I want to make 700 rwhp.... What I want to know is do u all think I am in the right path and when I do do the new set up what do u think it will make

Do you ask the same questions in a different thread every other week lol? You can use the search bar to figure out what turbo setups have worked well for other people. Is your turbo kit even a t6 flange? You can meet your power goals on a t4 flange.

No I have a t4 flange but I am cutting it off and putting a t6 on it... And ya I do ask it alot I just want to do it one time and I want to do it right I have spent a crap ton of money on stuff that I don't even use I have two different cams that I don't use I have a set of heads intake and tb I don't use I went through 4 different 4l60e all because I didn't know about a 4l80e swap... I am just new to the whole turbo thing and I have already bought two diffrent turbos I am just tired of wasting money on stuff I don't need I want to do it one last time and do it right

Add to the list of wasting time when you cut that t4 flange off when that t4 will support 700HP no problem.

Why are you buying parts and then doing your research later?

I was looking around the other day looking at Borg warner turbos. The s380 looks like it would do real good on the t4 flange. I would think it could easily support big power. Any other input on that?

Leave the cam alone unless you want to spend the money.
Cam selection is important but not the end all.
A t4 flange can easily support over 1000hp so cutting it off to go to a t6 and staying with a 76mm turbo???
heads and injectors are fine.76mm t4 can get to the power level you want just need to turn the wick up on the boost.

Well you can always sell the extra stuff that you don't end up using. I say throw it together and see what it makes man. Good luck on the build.
