I remember a couple years ago, Allen (Nelson Performance) had a pt1000 a2w on his avalanche. I saw it in person at this shop and it was small and easy to package under the hood of a truck. Asked how he liked it and he said it worked very good. The pt1000 is supposed to be good to 1000 hp, and most don't make that anyway. I don't see him on here much anymore but it would be cool if he could chime in on this setup.

This is a pt2000 on mine. It's big. Placement is in the dash with the inlet/outlet throught the fire wall. Mounting wouldn't work on a truck with a/c. I would think my mounting solution would be out of the realm of this thread, but you asked for pics so here ya go:

The pump died and we are going to use the cobra pump and a massive 4" thick HX that is used I think for the mustangs and what not. That pump scavenges so it makes mounting much nicer. I had to make it's home in the corner of the bumper and make sure it stayed upright. Bleeding it was a 2 hour adventure. If I had the cash and time, I would put the HD bumper with the large cut in the center, stuff a massive HX in, put dual fans on and make a cowl to direct the incoming air directly to the HX. I got the idea when I found barely used carbon fiber cowls and such for coolers off Nascar bodies. Few ideas rattled off...
I thought about something like that, behind the bumper but that's where my A2A is now and I can see where it has been hit off road. If I put it in the back I would hit the body before the cooler. I don't off-road it hard core but I do like to go play. I don't think mud will get in it, I've never had to wash any off in that area anyway
