tap into the oil pan for a return right? but what about the feed line to the charger? doesnt it need to be hooked into the block somewhere to receive pressure/flow?

Congrats on your score! There are a few things that are alarming me.....

I would suggest you seek professional installation help before you go any further. A 500.00 supercharger can turn into a 5000.00 engine REAL quick.

To answer your question the oil feed comes from the oil cooler supply on the driver side of the oil pan, you will need to get the adapter block if your truck has an oil cooler. If it does not have the oil cooler you can drill and tap the block off for the feed. I think this will require an orifice to restrict pressure in the feed line as 40-80 PSI will blow the seals out in the supercharger.

The blower runs in the factory FEAD.

I would also suggest an in tank fuel pump and HPT for the PCM.

Good Luck!

im thinking of doing the walbro 255 install in the stock housing. good idea? also sorry for so many questions, it just gets a little discouraging reading the vortech installation instructions and seeing all the little odds and ends peices im missing. im trying to do this the easiest way and simplest way... i know i need some kind of FMU, and was thinking of maybe a sandwich adapter to run the lines from like one of these http://www.flex-a-lite.com/auto/html...-adapters.html. my truck does have the oil cooler, so where do find the adapter for it? i guess after all these things are figured out/bought, then really i would just need to plumb everything and get it tuned?

If you get the bigger pump and bigger injectors you will NOT need an FMU.........
