I’m having everything done at a friends shop. I know it’s a forged bottom end with a cam/head package from TSP. I believe the heads are the stage 2 5.3’s.
The shop added a air/air intercooler I had from a previous build. It’s going on the dyno any day now and I’ll post everything about the build. It’s my worktruck, 05 extcab 4WD. I know he moved an air conditioner line, used a camero water pump and a few other things.

It’s close to running again, the new torque converter came apart and was sent back and should be delivered any day. Went ahead and upgraded the radiator, electric fans.

I'd go with the torque storm over this vortech for a bolt in solution. It's barely much more money, you have to add an intercooler in either case, and the torqstorm has a lifetime warranty and flows a bit more. The V3 only flows 1050 cfm and the torqstorm is 1250ish. I'm really tempted to put the torqstorm on the wife's 08 Escalade. I think with the blower and longtubes it should easily make 550ish whp on pump gas.

I’ll post the dyno results and exact combo when it’s finished. It’s supposed to be in the 550whp range according to the shop.

The Chevy ran a best 13.9@ 98mph last night with the 6lb pulley.
My friend was driving the Chevy and I my Tundra.
Head to head my Tundra won barely. 14.1 to a 14.3 on that race. A lot of fun, another bud ran a 11.1@128 in his Hell Cat.
Going to try the 12lb pulley next!
