Default Vortech Supercharger Kit

Anyone used or seen this kit installed on a NBS truck. Looks like a nice affordable kit, Or course some things would need to be made or adjusted to make it work. Mainly interested in seeing if the bracket and head unit would fit in the engine compartment. I have tried searching but unable to come up with anything. Looking for som epics if someone has installed or seen one used. Here is the kit.

I was looking at these awhile back and contacted them. They stated that they may fit the nbs/nnbs trucks but are intended for LS swap projects and that they have kits specific for the 99+ trucks. Thats not to say you cant get one and install it but its not gaurenteed to be a perfect fit without moving things around as needed. I believe the spacing is based of the truck accessories so belt alignment shouldn't be an issue.

Thanks for the input, I reached out to Vortech as well the said the same thing it may fit but have never tried it. Nor did they know if anyone has.The bolt on kits are $2,000 more and appear to be basically the same non-intercooled system. I just figured if the universal kit would fit that I could add my own piping and inter cooler and still be less than a bolt in kit. I am a poor man and if you've seen my build thread, I like to make my own stuff work as opposed to buying high dollar kits. I know modifying cars is not cheap but it doesn't have to break the bank either. Just doing a little research to see if anyone has experience with this kit. Did find some additional photos guess ill start measuring to see if it will fit.

With some piping changes that could be a nice affordable kit.

I thought about buying myself a bead roller. Lol

I had the same mindset when looking into this kit. Ultimately i bought a used P1 and a new bracket assembly and used my cold side stuff from an old turbo setup i had run previously on my old truck.

Ive looked at the torquestorm kits too. Kits are close to same in price, vortech is a little less. But still end up with a similar no intercooled system.
