I love my v2. I make 397hp with it on my 4.8 on 8lbs of boost. If you want a smaller pulley make sure you get bigger injectors and fuel pump. You can get the V2's for cheap too.

 

what i have listed is only what i have done to it so its got stock cam/heads, 3:42 gears, longtube headers/no cats, corsa sport muffler, volant cai with ram air scoop, re tuned pcm (deleted rear o2's, took tm off) and i beefed up my trans with more clutches, new converter, shift kit and i dont remember what else.. so thats all that ive done...

 

how is the low end torque and hp on the vortech or i mean how is it when u take off, do u get the power as soon as u punch it cause alot guys r saying the megnacharger has alot power when you punch it

Brian, 397HP is prolly @ crank. 325 is RWHP. That's my interpretation; lemme know if I can help u w/. anything else.

325HP 5.3 V2 8# on meth.

 

dunno....we usually speak in RWHP here so that one threw me off. I will wait for the owners response to clear it up.

 

I'm doubly confused. 5.3's are making 300+ NA. A 4.8L making close to 400 RWhp sounds about right to me with 8lbs boost, maybe a tad low but we can attribute that to Dyno differences but a 5.3L with 8lbs boost making 325?? I dont think so. Must have 35" tires and a 3.23 final gear.
