the kit bracket flex's and causes the belt to walk off the pulleys. Plus the 6rib setup won't cut it, 8 rib with an HD tensioner might but you will still have some belt slip and the added stress from the HD tensioner will shorten the life of the bearings in all your accessories possibly causing them to fail.

So you think a F1a on a pretty stout 370 would be overkill with a 8 rib set-up??

I have personally pushed over 25psi though a forged 370 with a D1sc.

No matter what you do.. the bracket will flex. You will chew up belts. Even with a costly innovators west setup and custom idler pulleys to get even more belt wrap the belt still dances around under hard stress.

If you are really serious about going procharged and making the truck fast swap out to the car accessory brackets and run 2010 style camaro bracket with the cog drive setup. We had full intent on doing that with one of my customers trucks and we have decided that we won't be using a blower any longer but that is the way to go to keep the blower located properly in the drive system.

No matter which way you cut it you get beyond a certain point that aluminum bracket flexes like crazy because it's hanging way out on the end of the accessories.
