Wouldn't your vented oil fill tube have relieved any crankcase pressure, even if your PCV is routed incorrectly?

From what I can see, it appears that you are directly allowing unmetered air (= vacuum leak) into the intake via the hose from the passenger side valve cover which is open to atmosphere via the breather. That hose should be removed and the fitting on the passenger side valve cover blocked off. You don't need that T fitting. If you did not have the valve cover breather, the passenger side valve cover would be connected to a fresh air source.... usually the intake tube between the air filter and throttle body.

Actually, having an open breather on one side and the other side connected to the intake is probably
indirectly doing the same thing if you are running a MAF sensor.

you must have mentioned that the breather you have on there has a CHECK VALVE in it, so it doesnt allow the engine to suck in unmetered air. The check valve pops open only if there is positive pressure in the crankcase.

In that case the pass. side valve cover hose should be connected to a fresh air source as I described.

Are you sure the check valve is installed in the correct direction?

the check valve is in the breather oil fill cap itself

According to their description this is a breather that lets air into the engine not out.
"the RX breather has a one way checkvalve that only allows the amount of air in the ECU can adapt to"

So what ill most probably do is block the passenger side and keep the breather on top
