I guess it would have helped had I rad the camaro board link in the first post. I thought he was trying to fab up a Camaro blower onto a truck.

Even if there is a fault in the system it should go into "Reduced Engine Power" or limp mode. It should still idle. I'm still leaning towards the injector scaling being way off. That or the MAF is freaking out because of all the extra airflow and doesn't know what to do.

just found out he's running bigger injectors - bigger than what Magnacharger tuned for, we don't know.

everybody on the camaro board is starting to lean towards the tune, too. he said he reloaded his last N/A tune & it did the same thing as before (that's when he mentioned the bigger injectors)

i told him to put the stock injectors back in, load his N/A tune (which has been running fine for a while now, even with his big intake, so MAF shouldn't be a problem), and see what it does

Just dont drive on the stock tune, if the stock injectors are put back in it should idle fine on the stock tune.

ok... so he's got LT headers with catless mid pipes. are the canned tunes written typically for stock engine +blower? if so, would the absence of rear O2s & cats be screwing him up?

the lack of cats may cause it to throw a code, but it would not cause the problems you are having. the rear 02 sensors just check to see if the cat is functioning properly.

just to have a little resolution, it turned out to partly be the tune-in-a-can from maggie not liking the greatly-increased airflow capacity from the intake & exhaust... but mostly a couple hoses not sealing correctly causing a big vacuum leak.

we grabbed my truck & a trailer & took it to the tuner in St Augustine (a guy we know & about the closest good tuner who wasn't booked for the next few weeks ) & he dialed in the ECM there. we dropped down to the 3.6 pulley, making about 7.3psi & some decent numbers considering his daggum 22" Savinis!
