I would definitely do the 2300. It is usually only $600 more up front (if you're buying new)...totally worth it, even if just for resale value later on. You always "think" that your plans will be enough...but it's nice to have the option to turn it up more in the future if you end up wanting more (which 95% of people do!). We see it all the time

It will not feel any softer down low either.

Whats your pulley combo? What fuel are you running on? It sounds low to me but its nearly impossible to know without more detail on the combo. I know you have another thread on this as well, it will be easier to keep that discussion in one place. If you bump that thread I'll chime in over there.

With my 2300 I get 8-9lbs (in summer heat, probably see more when it cools off) on a 6.0 ly6 with a 3.3 upper stock lower with stock heads/cam with VVT disabled, with 1 3/4 arh headers and full dual 2.5 exhaust.

No dyno results to speak of get a sporadic detonation with 14 deg of timing....most likely adding meth to fix that issue and pulleying down some more.

Get a 2300, the argument of a 1900 making boost faster is invalid. Ive driven and tuned both, the 2300 makes boost just as fast.

I already have the 1900 bought and installed over a year now... Don't feel like going through the hassle of selling it and buying a 2300... I should have got the 2300 off the bat but I messed up there!

that is why i got the 2300.... It makes boost plenty fast. If there is a lag i can't tell, then again my butt-o-meter may not be as sensitive as others...

My buddies biggest complaint when he bought the Ken Belle for his Cobra was that he didn't go big enough. He maxed it at 700ish rwhp and got accustomed to the power immediately. Spend the cash the first time so you can build into it if needed. He now needs to sell his unit at a huge loss and then drop a ton of coin to get the larger unit.

Just my 2 cents.
