Default Tvs1900 upgrade time

I am looking for some guidance as to what I should do next. It's a 210/224 cam, tvs 1900, 4.11 gears and supporting mods. I am looking at getting more boost and quicker response. Is there mods anyone does the the blower itself. I am looking at 8 rib kits and was wondering if you still pin the crank with that. Is it the same pinning kit? Can you eliminate the boost bypass?

You dont want to eliminate the boost bypass.

You want to spin the blower faster. Do you still have the pulley that came with the magnuson? There is a ton of power left in going 8 rib, spinning the blower harder, and using a good fuel or adding meth.

I had my crank pinned before I built the 370 with a keyed crank.

Yes it's the stock pulley set up right now and instead of messing with 6 rib I was thinking of going 8 rib. 10% od and smalleSt blower pulley 2.7 I think.

Yea that will wake it up... the power difference between where you're at now and that is greater than when you were NA to putting the blower on.

That might be more than you want, especially on just pump gas. That combo on a 5.3 would be around 16psi or so and you also risk overspeeding the blower. I would bump up to 12psi at most if you want some more power and don't want to run meth. Would be around a 3" pulley with a 10% OD crank pulley. Yes you need to pin the crank.

Ok. Does Joe sell all the pulleys necessary to make the 8 rib swap for my 2012 5.3? Bump to a 3 as suggested. I can always go smaller if it handles the 3" with 10% od well. Can I use any crank pin kit for 8 rib pulley? Does the bigger pulley affect the ac belt in any way? Sorry if the questions seem simple but I want to be sure before I spend the money.

Yea probably, I bet he gets it through innovators west. Yes the crank pin kit works the same way. The best way is with a woodruff key, but your crank has to be machined for that. The AC portion of the crank pulley is left the way it is (no changes).

Thanks for all the input everyone. I'll try to get in touch with Joe and get it ordered.

OK is Tmac who I should get in touch with to order my pulleys? How do you figure up the belt length you will need? I am trying to order everything this week and get it on by the new year.
