I dont think mine would be a good comparison at this time against a TVS1900. I do plan to do some comparison data with the TVS1900 against the 112HH inlet forward design and the TVS2300 against the 122HH inlet forward on my TBSS. I am running 17psi of boost right now with my setup on a 370 LS2 with L92 Heads. We will also be testing the 122HH inlet forward on Ray's (SuperSub) LSX 427 with L92 Heads and will compare his setup agaisnt a TVS2300.

I do think the TVS1900 is a great Supercharger for most everything out there up to 800 HP or so at the crank.

The TVS2300 should be able to make over 1000 HP at the crank, the down side to the TVS2300 as I see it will be all the torque will break alot of drivetrain parts.

Hey BC, with todays fuel prices on a DD, what could be expected in terms of gas mileage since you have first hand experience with the 1900. I'm thinking about my wifes Tahoe.

Stay out of boost and I cant see there being much, if any difference in economy.

I have seen an actual increase in mpg's on my particular set up.At one point i was seeing an avg 3+ mpg @ 70mph on a 1200 mile trip with radix vs. w/o the radix prior on my 5.3l I truly believe the effeciancy is there.

My mileage is better than stock for sure but i attribute that to the total sum of the parts and increased efficiency of the pump, not just the one part itself. Tuning has a big role in the efficiency of the engine.

I forgot about that issue, Duttweiler did it on a 402 right? I'm not @ home, so I can't check right now.

I thought the 1900 would blow the daylights out of a stock 5.3?

I haven't even put on my 112. The biggest reason(s) I didn't go TVS1900 last yr I just couldn't wait on when it may come out. Plus, Brian took care of me on 112. That, & at that time, unsure on pricing, but more than anything, I thought it'd blow all my **** up. From end to end.

Each component has its resonsibility's.Just removing my radix and its tuning i have lost a considerable amount of mpg's alone.Showing Me that with the added weight of my particular vehicle mated to un boosted 5.3 is taxing in itself.

This is def. good news. I will not give up on my 112, but u can bet I'll watch what all do w/ TVS1900. I might need 1 in the future for the 04 or a new, different project vehicle.
