I am only running 6 rib, not sure if I should go ahead and do this or not? Been running a couple different blowers now for awhile and no issues. I dont want any issues either though. For those that have welded it are there any issues with the PCM or anything welding it on the truck (Assuming the battery cables are disconnected)

You need a power steering pump pulley also.

And are a few tack welds at like 12,3,6 and 9 sufficient or do you really want to go nuts on the welding?
If you're going to the trouble to weld it than why in the world wouldn't you just do it right!?

You pretty much need to take the water pump off to tig weld it right. If you get it off, I'll weld it for ya.

Yup, the water pump has got to be TIG welded, no MIG BS.... A good welder should be able to get her done without having to remove it. 6 rib guys shouldnt need it, but it wont hurt to go ahead and get it TIG'd if you plan on going 8 rib later. And getting tack's at 12, 3, 6, and 9 is not a good idea... get it TIG'd and be done with it and never worry about it. Better safe than sorry. Id hate to hear about someone that took a shortcut and then had their water pump pulley blow through their radiator or hood. If so, post pics

First I've heard of this Who is selling 8 rib setups? I know Joe@Leftcoast and IW sells the balancer. Does IW sell an entire kit? Does anyone else offer a complete 8 rib setup?
