Default Tvs 1900 or 2300 for 427ci?

As the title says it, which one is suitable for 427ci? What's the limitation and potential of each.

It's for street use truck.

The 2300 is right at home on a 6.2L stock engine, if that tells you anything.

I'd put a 2300 on a built 5.3L!

What's the price difference between the two?

What's max boost with each on a built 427ci engine?

Trying to find out if tvs 1900 is much cheaper than tvs 2300 and if it's going to build 10 psi on a 427ci engine.

Could do 2 of either one on that engine..
Of corse there is the issue of the small hole you have to cut in the hood.

My 2300 gets 12 psi with a 3.4 pulley up front on a 427.

you cant say a 2300 will make xx psi on a 427 , compression ratio plays a big part.
