Cool turbo'd 305 on propain

has any body been running turbos with propainas main fuel system if so.

so i got a 1985 gmc sierra 2wd long box for a bottle of wiskey. it has a 305 with a cam but its on propain. i'm going to build a big block for it this winter but for now i want to go fast or blow the motor up figured the coolst way to do it is with a cheep turbo. I want to know what cars to look for at the junk yard that would have turbos that would work for me i think two small turbos would be good enugh for the little project.

If you just want to have fun destroying it id say just put a big shot of nitrous on it. Probably alot easier than fabbing a turbo kit together

Sounds like fun! If you had a way to get the afr right under boost I don't see why it wouldn't work. I think propane is higher octane, cooler charge, and burns hotter than gas. Might be a raped ape. Diesels shoot it on top of tons of boost.

There aren't really any turbos that would work well off another setup I don't think. But maybe twins off a supra or a 300zx maybe??? Def keep us posted it would be awesome to see just how much that lil motor could take lol
