My turbo started whistling last week.

So i'm thinking theres a boost leak somewhere in my intake plumbing.

Would a boost leak cause a whistling noise.

Usually the turbo will just make the woooshing sound, never whistle.

 

I noticed that on a turbo car i sued to have but it only did it when it wasn't warmed up

 

my turbo is coolant cooled, and oil fed. It does whistle when its cold. I checked my oil & coolant feed lines, and both have fluid.

which makes me think theres a leak in my boost tube / silicone fittings.

 

put a duck whistle on it haha

 

My supercharger has a whistle...I think its my outlaw CAI...it whistled before and now it just more pronounced.
