i have a question about my turbo timer. when i turn it on my traction control light comes on and the truck seems to loose it ability to do fuel trims. i say this because it goes way lean and kinda starts loping. like its missfireing. did i plug into a wrong wire? oh, my brake light comes on too. so what gives what did i plug into wrong? and my security light stays on all the time even if you try to turn off the vats via hptuners the light still stays on, never goes off. well, until you turn the key off.

 

I would say you tapped into the wrong wire, but of course I can be no help as to what wire you should have tapped into....sorry.

 

maybe it was the wrong pink wire. seems like there was a red wire a yellow wire and a pink wire.

 

Why do you have the turbo timer on when the engine is running?

 

thats what a turbo timer does. it runs the eng with the key out so you don't have to sit in the truck while the turbo cools down. kinda like a bass ackwards remote start lol. or did i missunderstand the question?
