If you ask someone who has a Supercharger the Supercharger is better.
If you ask someone who has a Turbo, the Turbo is better.

The question you need to ask is "What are my goals". What do you want to do with the truck? That will determine which setup is "best". One costs more than the other and you need to consider that both require more parts than the kits themselves.

i perfer the turbo.. for track use the s/c is top dog on low end torque, but the turbo imo will kill it on the big end of the track.. not to mention i hate the sound of a half dead cat under my hood

I really like my tvs 1900, but then again i have never ran a turbo. They are both excellent ways to go. People are more than happy with both methods, and there doesn't seem to be any inherent flaws with either route if setup properly. I suggest you find someone with both and take a ride or if they are nice enough to let you drive it, do that and see which one trips your trigger!
