I think twin 60-1's would be cheaper than one monster 1,000 dollar plus turbo.....
I think the cost of the turbos themselves would be ok, but I'd just be concerned with the cost of getting two manifolds and all the extra piping and everything designed and built.

Haha and you're safe being the fastest STS truck....I'm pretty set on a front mount setup.

Hints why some of us GT-67 users shift early

Good point. I don't really need to spin up that high I guess.

LOL I'm trying to see the humor in it. $9000 bought me an extra second and a quarter and a lesson in DCR calculation

As long as some boost wakes it up I'll be a happy camper.

Not saying to use the gt-67 just showing you that with that "small" turbo and smaller motor what was done so imagine what yours would do with more cubes and a better turbo. The PT-76GTS is a proven performer on tech and with your added cubes would spool quickly and still net you the rwhp you are looking for. Do alot of searching and reading, go to forcedinductions.com they have a whole turbo section about what the different sizes and numbers mean/do, and an air consumption chart for an LS1 408 to match up with compressor maps, you will also see the pt-76gts will match your needs well, FYI it will run you 1400 for the pt-76gts add coated exhaust housing for 50 and turbo blanket for 150 and you have an even faster spooling turbo but still tons more top end then a normal 76 or anything smaller. They told me that the 76 would spool damn near instantly on my rear mount so I would htink it would spool instantly on a front mount. Brake boost shoudl be around 8-9psi from the reading I have done and PM'ing a few on tech that run it in an auto and 370s.

The pt-88 with a blanket and coating is supposed to have just a little more lag but will net about 200-250 more rwhp
