I hear you there I have been to all of those places.. Lubbock is way colder. I am pretty surprised in the AFR I know when I drove open loop over 1000 feet of elevation change in about 100 miles I saw over a point of diffrence in my AFR but supercharged with a procharger

Ive found it alot simpler tuning OLSD 2bar with the turbo. And ive towed up to norther kentucky. From Jackson, ms to Tuscaloosa,AL i straighted my tune out (afr and timing) from the new cam and 76mm turbo. got up to norther KY, dunno the altitude, but my AFR stayed the same.

thats the furtherest ive been north since the turbo so i dunno about how the high altitudes and stuff affect it.

i vote OLSD for simplicity

I drove from Reno to sac, just a slight change in elevation (4000'). lol Dont forget the ve table is based on KPA and from what I have seen with my logs, the map sensor is not "0"ed out at any time by the pcm. What does that mean??? It means, no matter what your elevation is, the pcm corrects for via, kpa changes. so up at 4,000' my truck idles around 40ish kpa down in sac it idles around 30ish.... Atmospheric pressure is roughly 2 psi lower up here, also 2psi = 13.79 kpa...

Bottom line is, you engine WILL run different as you change in elevation, but the change air fuel error is due to the lack of tuning in the cells you are now running in....

Just my thoughts...
