04stepside (i think thats his SN) has a turbo truck and makes less than 400rwhp on a dyno but his truck is a MONSTER on the highway, some of the DFW guys can vouch for that

Its 05stepside, and kenny's truck put down like 376hp at like 5k i think.
I know he raced david's H/C 6.0 who put down like right at 400hp.
Kenny pulled david by more than a truck everytime.

Numbers aren't everything, but regardless something doesn't sound right.
Goodluck!

Is it not possible that the cam is bleeding off the boost?

221/228 581/588 114 LSA isn't ideal but it probably isn't bleeding off all that much boost.

Is 6psi on a 347 enough to get that turbo into its efficiency range?

The 9.2:1 isn't THAT low so it could just be a combination of a not aggressive enough tune and not enough boost. Add fuel, cut the timing and turn up the boost up to 10-12psi then start dailing in the timing and fuel tables.

I calculated the overlap on the cam and its around -3.5 so it shouldn't be bleeding off much boost.

I have a nine pound spring on the way. That should hold me over for a little while, I can see how this horsepower problem is going to be troublesome for the old bank account.

On a side note it was totally worth putting bus lengths on a mustang gt last night though!!
