I made 450/440 on 6psi on a 5.3 in 2nd gear. Your tuner might be doing all that he can for timing with pump gas...I assume you're on 91 octane?

the gearing may have something to do with it.. I am at 16* of timing and its a built 60 that i bought from a member on here.
Compression is about 9.2; I would have really loved to up the boost, but my aem boost controller was not cooperating. I really need to work out the kinks with that thing.. if not ill go pick up a cheapie.

That seems to be an odd way of thinking: You can't get a good one to work, so you'll try a cheap one.

9.2 CR with only 6 lbs boost won't be a stellar performer for sure. More boost is in order, but work up slowly, tuning it as you go.

What is your AFR at WOT? That will be another big factor in your numbers.

AFR is good, between 11.5-11.8. I am having hell with this boost controller. i may just take the valve out and order a ten pound spring. I really wanna see this thing reach its potential, I know there is a bunch more in there.

The low compression ratio is definatley hurting my numbers, I am ordering the new spring today. I will keep you guys posted on the results, but please keep giving me suggestions.
