Meth. Honestly if you're in it long enough at 6psi to where your IATs go through the roof, you're likely already exceeding the capacity of the cooling system.

So you still feel like a small turbo is the way to go on one of these setups? I have honestly decided I will put a tvs1900 on my 87 crew project.

I'd still do a blower on a gas engine 'tow rig' if it were me.

you should be more concerned with being legally allowed to tow that much weight, being able to stop that much weight and a chassis that can support that much weight towing

Check your local DOT laws as 12k gvw trailer isnt something most ppl are allowed to pull

with that being said i tow with a p1sc and use meth. I have a single m10 nozzle to help some, i dont run alot of timing and pull timing accordingly

Thanks everyone for the replies as far as being to tow it I'm looking on texas dps and dont say i can't my dad's old 5th wheel use to weigh about 14-15k and I would tow it all over the place with his diesel f250. I mean it's not like I move my 5th wheel everyday I mean it might be once a year or twice depends where the job is (construction)

a 3/4 diesel has a higher GVW rating then a 1/2 ton gas truck

the chassis alone is a huge difference in being able to tow/stop

Mine is a 1500hd and on the chassis my father in law has one like mine but 2500hd and the only difference we saw was on mine the back part after the axles the frame goes from like 8" to 6" but that's it. I'm trying to look up what this truck rated to tow from the factory
