I'd get that 4" tube and then a coupler from 3-4''. Or just have Rick make you a 4" tube with MAF in it for the final leg of your cold side.
So i already have a full 3.5" universal cold side piping set already to put together my cold side, what would you recommend I do for this same situation for my MAF I already have the card style flange to have welded on but if it has to be in a 4" pipe what would be best for me to do?

No need.
Weld the flange on the 3,5" tubing.
Measured the ID of many plastic cold air intakes.
Name brand and none name brand.
The ID is always smaller then 4".
Measure one on a 2015 truck.nane brand.
ID was 3.60. It's OD measured 4".

I will prob just get the 3.5 for now just to get everything together and upgrade later to a 4" cold side done the right way and not to many couplers all nice and neat looking under the hood. It will look like a hack job for a little bit but will do.

Thanks everyone

Yeah, 3.5" is fine as it's pretty close to the stock size, but 3" is too small. So you should be fine with what you have.
