You have a return system which helps a decent amount as well as running meth. Both of those contribute to being able to push your injectors further.

A single 255lph will support around 600whp right? Whats wrong with that?

The idea behind the second pump in parallel with a single line is that you won't get any pressure slides during max injector PW (e.g. more volume instead of more pressure). In reality, with the stock vac ref'd fp, I saw a slight pressure increase as well, which in turn made my injectors "bigger" when the second pump was on, and let me get away with running more boost than the math said I should be able too.

I did the volume to HP calculation way back when, and while I don't recall the numbers exactly, I do remember that 2 255lph pumps barely covered 1000hp, so theoretically, I'd say the number is closer to mid 500s. Even so, it's a good point to consider, outside of the "safety" factor up top.

its really odd that your maf is reading so irratic. some variation is normal but 5lbs of variation is alot. Just hurry up and get the 2 bar, then ditch the maf. If you were close I have 2 extra MAF's we could try. One is nearly new with the screen and one without the screen. It would be interesting to see what difference in reading if any there was.

Since running your K&N so long have you cleaned the sensors on your maf? Just get a cutip and rubbing alcohol, that should remove any contaminants.

I agree with the MAF, those are some Wierd readings. I dont know that I would be touching the MAF with anything, those wires break easy. I would just use some MAf cleaner from the parts store and spray it out then let it dry. Thats what I used to use when I had one. I would like to see this setup 2bar, ever since I went 2bar I am not going back.

I've tried the maf cleaner spray and it didnt get all the nasty black gunk off as well as a cutip. youd be surprised how much abuse the maf wires will take. lol I have a stupid story but i'm not telling. I've used the cutip LIGHTLY for the last 7 years and not had an issure yet. Of course I'm a lucky bastard that ran a .560 lift cam to 7800rpms on stock valve springs for a year and a half with no problem. lol I just cant seem to break motors very well, even when I try. My poor blazer saw 15psi with no added fuel or tuning for a few months, then back to the 125 dry shot. 120k+ miles and it still runs like new. Stupid 4.3, I've been trying to blow it for 5 years in hopes of building a marine 4.3 up, but no, the stupid thing just laughs at me and keeps running. Sorry bout the rant. lol

Gotcha, as for the MAF spray. I never let mine get black gunk on it so I guess I dont know how it works at that point. I cant believe you didnt get valve float spining the stock springs to 7800 hell even with any cam. As for the 4.3, those little bastards will take some abuse. They use them in allot of industrial equipment and I have seen some crazy **** with them and they keep on running.

Electric motor / contact cleaner in the spray can works well too. I used that crap on my S/C tacoma back before they had the maf cleaner. I'll see if I can dig up some logs.
