The BOV kit that came my kit had two un-colored springs. One is obviously stiffer with thicker wire and the other has more thin wire and not nearly as stiff. I also bought a Tial "white" spring that is the current spring causing all the flutter.

So this is a quick break down of the current problem:

Plain stiff spring that came with kit - Too stiff
Plain weak spring that came with kit - Too weak & hangs open at idle
Tial "white" spring - Too stiff and currently causing flutter

I am thinking about buying the next step down Tial spring and giving it a shot. Think that is the black spring.

The Black spring is supposed to be the correct spring for my application but I only have -9 vacuum where you have -18-19.

Ship me out the White spring so I can test it out.

Why not trim one of the springs that is too stiff?

That is a good idea. Maybe I will just take off a coil at a time on the plain stiff spring that came with the kit until I hit the sweet spot.

For $20 I would rather just get the correct spring rather than cut one. I am sure cutting it is not the ideal way of doing it or they would just sell one and have the end user cut it.

How many coils are on the spring total? I would probably go slower than one at a time, maybe 1/4-1/2 coil at a time

Where did you find the Tial springs for $20? Cheapest I could find is $28 including shipping. If trimming the plain stiff spring does not work, I might sell the white spring and buy the black spring.

Here is where I found it and I am going to go pick one up locally.

Tial Blow Off Valve BOV 50mm Spring 7 PSI Black | eBay

I am going to be buying the White one to start. My buddy gave me his Plain one that he did not use and it is between the White and Pink in stiffness.
