Turbo Bogging Issues??
#1
Hey guys. I got a problem with my truck at highway speeds of about 55 to 85mph. If i get on it in drive then my trucks begins to bog after a few secs. I though it was some kind of tuning issue. I did notice that when my meth spray light comes on at about 5lbs of boost then the truck does the bogging in and out of power thing. When I run the truck in third gear tho the trucks seems to pull fine. I knoe they tune my truck on 3rd gear on the Dyno, maybe they should dyno tune it in drive? Any takers? Thanks

Well i posted this problem somewhere else in this forum at the same time and someone said my tq converter is probably loose which causes my trouble codes to go off because i get thrown into safe mode. I did notice that my "shift solenoid b stuck on" code goes off frequently causing me to be stuck in third unless i shift manually. It goes away after I turn off the ignition for a few seconds. Also I throw bank 1 and bank 2 lean codes at the same time, which kinda throws the running rich theory out, right? The guy said continued abuse could burn up bands two and three. Does this sound about right. Also I dont have any other nozzles for the meth. Thanks guys

I think it is the methanol dumping in when you hit a few psi of boost. If you get a wideband, it will be easy to see. If it is the methanol, you can lower the ramp rate of the controller and that may be fix some of the issue.
We can talk more when I get back.
