cylinder pressure is what lifts the heads, which skyrockets when detonation occurs. i think you will get to the point where it's not making anymore power cause your having to pull enough timing to keep the cylinder pressure down. so other than being able to say "i'm running 18psi", and heating up the IAT's alot you'll be about where your at now.

even at that. I dont see a point. I would run 13 and meth, really not point to run xx boost on the street. When my kit is back on, Im probably gonna run around 5 psi. Yes its 2wd, but I already have no traction whatsoever all motor

LOL yah no doubt we all do, its a sickness.. You need to stud it, then crank the boost up.. Or put a bigger engine in there, or buy another truck(lighter one) and have at it...

If I get a bigger engine I will have to get a jackshaft blower so I can make alot of boost.....

Running 18psi will not be an issue with good fuel or tons of meth.

Fuel and a good safe tune will be the only things you need. Personally I would not run that much on pump gas and meth unless I had a few safety devices to shut it down in the event the meth quits working.

Eric K is one hell of an engine builder and if he says its fine then it is. Just need good fuel.

How much would you run for mostly street and some strip with pump gas? We have 91 here and that is it. I'm running that now but soon will be running the meth also.
