To tell you the truth, With the coating on the exaust housing It really doesn't get very hot. 10 min after shutting down you can touch the housing and not burn your fingers. I am really impressed how hell the coating holds the heat in.

Wow, straight from the horses mouth. Sounds good to me. What turbo did you go with, if you don't mind me asking? And what's the largest size that is supported?

I went with the 62-1 but they also have a larger one that is optional. I didn't want to go too big because this is more a daily driver and I tow with it, I wanted something that spools quick for on the street and when I tow, not much racing done with this truck except at the stoplights.

I have to get my 5600 lb truck moving, so I'll probably go in the same direction as you even though I don't tow. Where did you find injectors? Sorry for all the questions, but I am used to F--body stuff, not trucks.

well mine makes boost 2500-3000 rpm range because of my stall , 3500 and up is full boost i think. Im dropping back to a stock stall speed after the new tranny gets here, so it should be making boost closer to the 1600 rpm range. I can brake stall as much boost as i want. If i want to leave the line at 10 psi I can

When I had the stock stall I could brake boost it to 6lbs.Now with my small 1800stall which drives like stock it will make full boost. While locking the tranny it will full boost at 1800rpm.

I think it will feel alot better! I originally put the stall in there when i had the procharger and left it after the turbo. I tow with the truck ,so a stocker should work much better for me. turbos like to be loaded so the smaller stall should make it spool quicker!
