But I'm not.
I tweaked WJ's list. If I lived in a warmer area, I prolly would've went turbo. Why does this matter? Cause I'd ride to work. I wanted a boltin pkg w/ no dickin around. I didn't want to be dialing in or if it leaked, be screwed in winter. To me, a Radix is rock solid reliable. To be fair, I've never done FI nor a turbo, but my comments are prolly geared more toward problems associated w/ STS. Trick is higher standard.
Warmer weather??? Im in colorado, It gets pretty damn cold here in the winter, also truck runs real good in the cold. It is bolt on no dicking around. what about leaks, not sure what you are referring to???

Dennis,

You already know what I'm gonna say

Why waste such a great turbo with shelf duty

Rick is pretty easy to work with. You just say: "Hmm. I'm thinking about doing a front mount." Then he goes out into the shop, welds up some pipe and sends you a pic of what you're new kit will look like... (In case you missed my thread, Rick is making me a set of tubular twin manifolds and DPs for BRT )

Either kit would depend on what you plan on doing with the truck. The Radix or Trick Turbo are dead reliable if they are installed/tuned right.

I'd rather have the turbo but I'm not sure I trust my self with my eboost! 20lbs on my 408 was sure fun! With a Radix I'd have to get the wrenches out to go faster... IMHO the turbo would be faster but I'm still up in the air.

So far only 1 TVS1900 that I'm aware of that's been to the track. And it was impressive.

Trick has a few guys going real fast in 5.3's and 6.0's ... Good thing its a long weekend. I'm going to pull the trigger on something Monday.

Please let me reiterate. I said that FI will be new ground for me. I'm rather ignorant of turbos, therefore there's an intimidation factor. What w/ BOVs, wastegates, & all.
I do have a Q for ya WJ. Do u drive in the snow & ice w/ your turbo truck on a regular basis? I think u have 4wd. I thought traction might be a bigger issue w/ the sudden surge of power on a turbo in winter. I guess it's learning how to drive your power in weather, much like I'll need to do w/ Radix.

Leaks, well that comment as I said b4, was directed more @ the STS units. They seem to have more problems w/ that pump in rear leakin fluid, burning up & quality. I was told that in winter, I'd (potentially) see issues w/ oil traveling to the rear mount STS. The guy was also tryin to sell me on doing a front mount. I really thought of an STS when figuring what I wanted FI-wise. I also thought there'd be leak issues w/ manifolding due to all the heat generated on turbos. Customer service w/ STS also went downhill from what I heard.
TRICK makes a 1st class unit in my eyes. At the time, IIRC, I don't think Rick was doin front mounts. His stuff came out after Brain got me a unit. I've no intention on gettin rid of my 04, but if I go FI again, I'll call Rick.

New price sheets mean they went up in price, right?

What's BRT?
Rick's customer service ( from what I read) is 2nd to none. He'll educate on what'll work for your appl. & build the way u want. My hat's off to him.

I don't ever see a bad thing said bout a Radix, unless it's a limit to power potential. But the new, bigger 122s & TVS have changed that. The turbos, well... one will prolly run out of motor, before they run out of turbo. Buying w/ room to grow is an idea that fits well on turbos.

I wanna say Turbo but you seem like me and will blow it up with the eboost so I'd say go Radix so you'll keep it longer!

Ahhh Crap...Go Turbo already!
