I find it odd that you can barely hear the engine. Sure the turbos would be loud with no muffler, but so would the engine.

You can hear the engine once it goes by if you turn the volume up pretty good but, it is very faint. I don't think the mic on that camcorder was really meant to pick up from a long way off and it's just a matter of that turbo whistle being VERY loud.

The engine has a muffler....the turbo.

I believe that it is real, I have been around plenty of planes ( Air Force) and that is not the sound of a jet engine. While it is close to the sound I think thats all turbo there.
