Well if it won't cost anything but some time since you already have it . . . . . .Some one did try it. I think that all the variables are going to make it or break it.

i have searched and read it.... but everything in inconclusive
and one is a supercharged big block... totally different

I would def not count the whippled big block. I personally hate whipples. I also have an extreme dislike for whipples customer service.

i didn't keep my whipple on my lightning long enough before i went turbo to have to use their customer service... BUT i can tell you it made 90rwhp more on 16.5lbs compare to the Kenne Bell did on 21lbs both were 2.3L chargers....

so my vote is still on Whipple

turbohoe or something like that, sued to be somethign else way back in the day did it on his vehicle I believe and the results were less than stellar.

06 - up Dmax have a larger more effiecient intercooler.

but the 05 and older fits directly in a 1500 non HD.....

Well I hate to say it but wouldnt that mean someone before you 'tried it'? Why not try it out and let us know. Why dont you want to run the intercooler you got from Kyle?

really?

I heard/read they are too tall and need to be re-welded to fit.

What are the normal factors for an INtercooler?
core size?
pressure loss?
end tank construction? metal or plastic

I was looking at the same thing and could not get a good pic of it...and I need a pic to see how/if its going to work.
