I am having a REP code p1516 come up under wot around second gear shift or speed. Not sure if this is a problem with the nitrous system making the truck throw the code or the TBSS tb. I have heard stories of ppl with this tb having issues with forced induction. What where the issues and what codes would that throw?

Some with a maggie that used to have a tbss throttle body and went to a ls2 would be great.....

 

I've never thrown that code with my 90mm. I'm running the LS2(Vette) TB.

 

This only happens on the one to two shift and from a dead stop....from a roll in 2nd and stomp it and no codes...

 

The TBSS/SSR TB has a weak servo and will contiue to do this more and more. The fix is to replace it with the LS2 car style TB.

 

Never had a problem with the LS2 Vette tb. I did have problems with the 02 escalade TAC module setting 1516 and 0220 codes. Module was bad.
