Default Tb recommendation on tvs 1900 5.3 (silver/gold blade)

Guys are telling me 10-15 hp with 90mm tb upgrade on my 2010 5.3 truck
Two part numbers come up
Part #: 12605109. Guys on here use this gold blade
12570790 older silver blade
Since gold blade is half the price is there any problems with that tb on tvs 1900?
Thanks

If I'm not mistaken, the stock TB on 2007+ trucks is 87mm... I wouldn't think that 3mm would make enough difference to be worth the money you'd spend. I'd think your stock TB would work just fine.

Unless youre pushing it really hard I wouldnt worry about the gold blade 87mm units. And there is power available if you are moving up from a 78... Depends what year your truck is.
