Default Supercharger, which of these 2?

I am planning to install a SC on my 2007 (100 miles) L92 w/ VVT, no AFM or DOD.
This is going into an offroad truck that is 80% street driven.
The engine is stock, plan to run a set of headers, maybe a cam if I can find one that can improve tq, stock sounding and works well at low speed w/o a stall. Trans is a 6L80e.
Truck is about 4500lbs loaded.
Doubt it will ever see 6000 rpm, nor raced.

I want a SC as I live at sea level, but do most of my offroading at 9000'+

So as to my 2 choices:

Edelbrock or GM (LS9)

Both are about the same cost but which would be the better choice?

I like things about both of them, but want the most bang for the buck.

The one thing I like about the GM is the larger rib pulley.

Also, does anyone know if the 2012 camaro and the truck offset is the same?

The WP looks identical spacing wise, yet Edelbrock said the crank pulley offset is different. Cant see how if the WP lines up.

Lastly, any recommendations on a cam, or just keep it stock?

thanks!

Id avoid the LS9 blower, not because theres anything wrong with the unit, but it requires the LS9 accessory system which is extremely pricy in itself

Id go with the edlebrock

The core SC unit is the same TVS 2300 between the two

A cam will do wonders for the engine, but is not required

Thanks, that was the way I was leaning, for the exact reason you mentioned.

Any suggestions about what cam and still retain the VVT, good idle and tq/milage?

While Im sure its a great s/c I just dont want the jack shaft type.
This truck is offroaded, gets hood deep in mud and water even, so I prefer the 2 I mentioned.

Someone once mentioned a "Pat" who spec'd their cam for them. Anyone know who that is, how to contact etc?

Thanks again
