i have a 5.3 with 45,000 miles im getting the good radix supercharger and i need to know if theirs anything else i need so i dont shell the motor? Oh and i dont have enough money to rebuild the entire thing either

Just what is "the good radix"?

 

Are you buying a complete kit new, or a used kit? The "stock" radix kit will have everything you need to get up and go with ~5-6lbs of boost.

You will want to address a few drivetrain issues before altering the system to get more from it. You engine will be fine with the Magnuson tune.

what could i expect for track times?

 

Your track times won't = the HP you're making. It's tough to hook a short based truck with a bunch of power on hand. If you're after a quick truck at the track, you need to add slicks which will prolly end up smoking your tranny. After you upgrade the tranny, you'll trash the rear end. Do you see a trend? Fun stuff though!!
