few parts summit cant get but the do a decent job on the ones they can get..

 

This literally happened to me two days ago at O'Reilly's. Went in to get a caliper rebuild kit for the rear of my 99 Silvy. The guy was obviously very puzzled with what I wanted. He started by asking if it was a 5.0 or 5.7. I was like, wtf? The he asked if it had disc brakes? Uh, duh... "caliper". Are you fricking kidding me!?! Where do they get these guys.....

 

They dont want mechanics, we would be fixing customers cars instead of selling them parts that they dont need. "Would you like some gojo and blue nitrile gloves with your purchase of unnessary parts sir/ma'am?"

 

OH yes they hate me when i come in. 2004....1500...8.1 liter...
WTF! LOL I just ask them let me look and grab the part.
But in general parts store have went to ****...
When did not having a person in charge of just taking your money become a good business decision. And all the parts chains do that now it drives me crazy.
**** i need one quart of oil let me wait in line behind 10 women buying parts for their husbands car because the husband too lazy to go get it himself for a single quart of ******* oil to put in my car....

 

Went to advance and told them I wanted 8 Ngk tr55's, dude insisted he needed my vehicle info, after hassling with guy for 10 minutes I asked for the manager, he finally gave me what I wanted. Those tools think their computer is the word from god lol

 

lmfao i always look my own parts up now at autozone.. hey you put the damn computer where i can get to it im gonna use it and say GEM ME THIS ****

 

I normally use the website then that **** confuses them. I even print it out for em

 

i love when you tell them "wait this isnt the same price as online" and they say "Well the prices online arnt always the same as in the store because its a different area" WHAT?? i did it with your store clicked in as my home store... its the price so match it moron
