I think it would be so cool if the kids with spoilers and fart boxes wanted to humiliate you because they see that you have a fake turbo, only to find out that you have a real S/C!

you can pick up a Used STS kit for pretty cheap.. or go with a KBracing front mount or Trick, or procharger, or whipple, or maggie.... it never ends.

YEA!! me too, I just rode in a Truck that HAD A Radix, but did a STS swap. I think the truck still thought it had a Radix on it though, as it would change lanes at 50-70 mph by touching the gas pedal... I know it could not have been that stupid butt turbo.
I have over 40,000 miles on my butt thingy with out one problem (from the turbo kit itself)

As you can see, snake4 you WILL not get a good answer from anyone here. Do a search but be warned, do it carefully because picking out the facts in these threads is quite a challenge. No one will admit the advantages of a kit they don't like or have...We all have MSTBS... aka MY ***** the BEST syndrome

NOW, where is that other hole in the head

I would go with a front mount or a radix. Nothing against the sts, as I've seen them make the power. I just have mental issues with having the compressor so far away, and having the turbo under that truck exposed to the elements more so than the front mounts

Now Dusty that is simply NOT TRUE...I will tell anyone who listens that EACH has it's own pro's and con's. There is no one BEST fi solution for anybody.

Fair enough? Personally, I like t/c

Depends on what blower roots or centrifical.
