Default sts turbo and stainless steel headers

merry chrismas all


i have stainless steel jba headers shorties . i wonder if its okay to fix them would stainless steel headers have higher temp than the stock manifold in a 6.0 gm engine ?

and is it ok to wrap the stainless steel headers with exhuast wrap ?

The stockers actually flow pretty good for a turbo set up and help hold heat a lot better. If your JBAs are SS then wraping them should actually be done to hold heat better or you will lose spool time due to heat loss, the SS pipes will never rust so no worry there.

I would sell them and put your stockers back on (unless you are pushing 600hp).

thanks for the update am currently running 550 hp i think am gonna wraper rap my ss headers and see what happens.
